Listening Tour For The American Mindfulness Association
I love mindfulness and I know you do too! As I have been curating this newsletter and running my own company Leadership Solutions International since 2010 it has come to my attention now is time to bring together mindfulness with its own professional association. Professional Associations—are organizations that are established to further specific professions and the interests of those who work in them. Perhaps you have heard of the National Association of REALTORS or Amerian Dental Association. These organizations bring together the individuals within the profession to share a common purpose to connect and benefit from the collective wisdom of one another. Together they advance the industry and profession. While many of you are just getting to know me my life's work comes out of the building, leading, and managing associations. As a not-for-profit organization, this association brings together the teachers, researchers, government entities, technology companies, and organizations that believe in the secular and neuroscience-based practice of mindfulness.
So now is the time - we are the people. Join me in the creation phase of the American Mindfulness Association as a starting point I'll be hosting three listening sessions where I will share the vision of the work and listen for your ideas on how you want to be involved. Here are the details onthe first session.
