S. 2155 is now law!

I've sent you I don't know how many messages about S. 2155. But this one is different.

This one is the best, in fact—because we won! The bill passed both chambers of Congress and President Trump signed it into law moments ago.

Real, lasting regulatory relief is here, and it could not have happened without you!

I mean that. Thank you, again. 

This was a hard-fought bill, and up until the end, its passage was never a sure thing. This victory required our entire movement working together. At different times in the debate, opponents tried to distort the bill as either a giveaway to Wall Street or a too-timid compromise that didn't go far enough.

But because of your support, we controlled the narrative. We stayed positive, and we shored up the votes by using your stories to show what the bill really was—bipartisan, common-sense legislation that benefits the millions of ordinary Americans who choose Main Street financial institutions like credit unions.

This is an accomplishment we can all be proud of. 

We did something historic today. Let's take a moment to celebrate that...because you know it won't be long before I'm contacting you about our next ambitious goal on behalf of America's credit unions.
