2+1+1= Formula Of My Existence!
You may be wondering how is that 2+1+1 = Life
Let me share a child’s journey that began in the vivid landscapes of Karachi, Pakistan, in 1966, a journey filled with unexpected twists, challenges, and, most importantly, resilience.
Imagine, on a bright Sunny day, a 1.5-year-old child holding the hand of his mother and grandfather, excited about the plane journey and visiting his father.
After a 2 ? plane journey, he, his mother, and his towering grandfather landed in Jeddah. His grandfather, a man of strength from his army days, faced a pivotal decision regarding a pilgrimage or heading straight to the enchanting city of Taif, where his father eagerly awaited their arrival. They chose to rest in the enchanting city of Taif, where his father eagerly awaited their arrival. Little did they know, this decision would set the stage for a series of life-altering events.
As they traversed through a breathtaking valley en route to Taif, nature threw a curveball. A thunderstorm transformed the road into a river, submerging cars and inducing panic. Miraculously, a massive gypsy truck appeared from nowhere to rescue them from the grips of a near-death experience.
Two and a half months later, as life was settling back to normal with the birth of his brother in Taif, another ordeal waited for this young child.
Determined to embark on a pilgrimage to Medina, He was on a bus with his mother, two-month-old brother, and uncle. Disaster struck again as the bus lost control, flipping 360 degrees. His mother, holding him and his brother protectively, suffered injuries that still linger today. It was his second brush with death, leaving him overwhelmed with fear, pain, and anger. As a child, his question was, "Why me?"
Fast forward to 2001 in the UK. The same child is now a grown-up man and has his own family. He is on holiday with his family and friends when his children saw a water park, and they wanted to go there to enjoy the water park. Instead of saying no, he joined them in the waterpark and enjoyed the water rides with his and his friend's Kids while enjoying the water-based ride, and another unexpected twist to his life took place. He came across a water ride called Space Bowl and decided to go for that ride. During the ride, he lost his breath and drowned. But rescued by the lifeguard.
As if this wasn’t enough in 2021. Life through another curveball, he brushes with another death experience one evening after finishing evening prayers. While he is getting up, he loses consciousness and is gone for 10 minutes, a total shutdown and no sign of life. A miracle happened, and he regained consciousness. Medical investigation shows that his heart was stopped for 1.5 milliseconds.
Learning from this child's experience shows that life teaches us things and tells us that life is a precious gift. Look after it. But what we do is treat life and body like rented cars. Where we dump all the rubbish and ensure that when we return the car, it is in a dirty state as if it is somebody else's to clean and not our problem to handle. We treat our lives and our bodies in the same way.

Gratitude: Even in the darkest times, there's something to be grateful for. Gratitude is a powerful force that shifts our focus from what's wrong to what's right.
Resilience: We all possess an inner strength that surfaces in adversity. Recognizing and cultivating this resilience is crucial as it becomes the bedrock of our ability to overcome challenges. But that requires self-awareness and building Inner leadership.
Shared Strength: We're not alone in our struggles. The support of others, whether it's family, friends, or even strangers, can make an enormous difference. That is where 4th domain of emotional intelligence plays a huge part, which is Relationship Management. Relationship with ourselves first and with others.

Now, let's equip ourselves with tools to navigate emotional reactions, limiting beliefs, and mental health issues:
