210MW FULL REWIND WITH ENTIRE CORE RESTACK AND MANUFACTURE & SUPPLY OF NEW STATOR BARS

This is one of the prestigious jobs that we have done in our 4 decade career span. The job involves performing ElCID and flux loop test on the core, removal of old windings, find out the damaged sections of the core, remove the entire stack, re-laminate every stamping, replace new stampings for the damaged ones (in this case 10% of the entire core), perform ELCID and RATED flux loop test (in a third party lab), manufacture new water cooled turbo bars and install them in the core, braze the bars, form the end connection and send it to the customer.

We have to admit that initially we faced lot of hurdles in handling this project right from tracing the suppliers for all the special made-to-drawing spares to getting the technology and understanding it. We collaborated with some of the best technicians in the country and across the globe to understand the technology. Now we are very confident about the project and almost 80% of the work is complete with the core assembled and ready for coil insertion and bottom coils tested & ready for feeding. we are thrilled to see this machine fully commissioned and running at the customer's place.
