210KM Ride for Simon - This Weekend!

Fundraising for Brain Tumour Research

Some of you may know that at the end of last year my brother-in law died after a three year battle with brain cancer at the age of 37.

Simon had a wife, Sophie and two young children Joseph and Esther and achieved his wish of being there to see his youngest start school. He was truly inspirational in the way he lived his life after his first diagnosis and two major surgeries; he continued to focus on living life to the full, while showing immense resolve. Cycling was his way of dealing with the hard times and proving to himself he could do it. His oncologist was continually surprised when Simon arrived for his treatments in Bristol after a 30 mile bike ride and then often chose not to take the easy option of the train home!

Nearly 20 of us, friends and family are cycling 210km from Solihull to Chippenham on 23rd & 24th September to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
