21 Days of Entrepreneurship

21 Days of Entrepreneurship

I?Lilian Okado?have been meaning to write on?#entrepreneurship?for a while. I’ve been in this space for so dang long it’s become an extension of me. I recently joined a ‘21 days of prayer’ group led by naijas (Nigerians, don’t ask) and for whatever reason my business and related aspirations have weighed heavy on my mind. I’ve been quite restless and unsettled. Usually when I feel like this, I know to make it a prayer point. Seeing as I have no ‘big bro’ or ‘big sis’ to lean on for counsel on these things, prayer it is.

The other day I asked if women go through mid-life crisis. It’s very possible I’m going through it as we speak, in all areas of my life. Just surprised women are so quiet on this issue. Unless I’ve been under a rock. I rarely hear us talk loudly (enough) about it. I almost feel like ‘how could I have better prepared for it?’ Lol. Or does it pass? Then one day in hindsight, you’re like “aha kumbe that was it!” Just shows how resilient we can be amidst life’s cycles.

For me it appears to be a season of re-clarifying my goals. I really hope by the end of this prayer cycle - that I was introduced to courtesy of my brother?David Simeon Okello?- I will have gained the needed clarity.

Whilst at it, I’ve decided, why not also pen down my loquacious thoughts on entrepreneurship over the next 21 days. Yes, I will also be using big, big words, so y’all can pay full attention. I understand social media people have zero attention. I differ. I believe if you give good content that is relevant, people meant to read or in a similar season, will read. I say this to my clients all the time. Some hear me.

So here goes to keeping you engaged.

I know this is not Twitter or Threads. But see next post.
