In the previous 100 millennia long ice-age 14 millennia ago several human races did not survive the climate change after the evolution of the homo sapiens on earth since 200 millennia ago and the clock is ticking for the next ice-age to start in 2050 according to the NASA sunspot counter.
Will it be a "Mini Ice Age" for a few centuries or a major ice-age for the next 100 millennia ?
Difficult to say.
We had those repetitive 5 century cooling cycles already since 2000BC alternating with 5 century warming cycles.
Can we count on this periodicity for "Mini Ice Ages" ?
I don't know.
In previous ice-ages the world population was not as gigantic as today with more than 8 billion fellow humans on earth.
With modern agriculture for food the farmers may need to adjust the farming methodology for lower temperature and longer winter time but energy supply for home warming may become critical especifically now with global warming alarmsm pointing the whole world in the other direction unfortunately.
