By 2030 the most serious killer will be inactivity

Currently inactivity is worlds fourth biggest killer

Below 10 indicators of how our future children may live less that their parents and how sport plays a big part in this inactive phenomenon. 

  1. 7,4 million people a year die of heart diseases 30% because of inactivity , followed by strokes and respiratory problems with another 25% associated to being inactive.
  2. 250,000 people die in the US every year second to smoking but with more deaths than road injuries, breast cancer, colon cancer and alcohol all combined. Now just think of the publicity and information these all receive.
  3. The World health organization estimates 3,2 million deaths globally can be attributed to inactivity and has placed a large importance on Sport development world wide
  4. 2/3 of the population is not physical enough which means that these people are neither practicing sport or leading a healthy life
  5. In a UK questionnaire to business directors 9 out of 10 replied in a survey related to sport said they know exercise is good but do not even walk anywhere a large problem in our current western society
  6. People who are inactivate age quicker, have increased diseases, suffer from diabetes, increased cardiovascular problems and a never ending list of cancers
  7. Many doctors are stating that our future generations may die earlier than their parents which is shocking when we talk about anti-aging, better quality of life in later life or the huge advances in medicine
  8. Sport in America carried out a research that 80% of the reason why people do not continue in sport, always led back to the same common reason sport was not FUN
  9. Health Doctors state the current silent killer of today is inactivity as it affecting 78% of the American population
