2025 starts with another acquisition

Hello everyone, and I wish you all a very happy 2025.

The new year began for me with a heavy fever and severe medication. So, a lot of things got pushed and postponed. Still, there is one update that we can cover.

Worldwide Technologies acquires Softchoice

World Wide Technology announced that it has acquired Softchoice More details here:

WWT is a strong Contender in my 2024 research report on the Future of Work services for the U.S. midmarket and large account market. From what I could learn, Softchoice also offers digital workplace services and serves clients in the U.S. and Canada. Apart from the workplace, there are many common service areas between WWT and Softchoice, such as cloud, data center, networking, security, etc. With this acquisition, World Wide Technology expands its footprint in these regions.

Apart from this, there is no major development to share this week as the world is slowly waking up from its slumber after the New Year's party. I am sure we will have more updates to share in the coming weeks.
