Growth of Women's Sports
49% of sponsors and brands list revenue growth as a reason for focusing on women’s sports, while opportunities remain for broadcasters and digital platforms to unlock its full potential.
Revenue Generating Platforms
Though owned websites and apps are over twice as effective as social media for generating revenue, many organisations are still underutilising it. While YouTube remains the king for revenue generation on social media, Instagram Reels is the most used channel.
The report also reveals optimism about AI’s future impact, with a 33% average positive shift in expectations for audience and monetisation growth through AI across all sectors in 2025, especially in Stadium & OOH, Teams, Leagues & Federations and Digital Media & Apps.
