South?Africa’s premier environmental awards, the Petco Awards, recognise excellence in reuse, recycling, and waste minimisation when it comes to packaging. Its range of categories is open to all types of changemakers—from individuals and community groups to businesses and organisations—nationwide.
Winners are recognised for embracing Extended Producer Responsibility, contributing to driving collection and recycling, and reflecting the principles of sustainability, the circular economy, design for recycling, SMME development, and integrating the informal sector into the value chain.
You can nominate any individual, company, or group that you feel meets the criteria in one or more categories. Please provide a detailed and comprehensive motivation for your nominee.
Entry is free of charge, and the deadline for submissions is 5?pm on Friday, 7 February 2025.
