A recent survey by The Harris Poll found that 84% of hiring managers are confident about their hiring plans for the first half of 2025. Of those, 52% are optimistic, 46% hopeful, 45% confident, and 38% satisfied with their outlook.

While growth is the priority for most, 30% of hiring managers plan to maintain their current workforce levels. Only 6% foresee staff reductions, with cost-cutting (68%), restructuring (22%), and decreased demand (21%) as the primary reasons for workforce decreases.

Despite the optimism, hiring managers remain aware of several ongoing challenges, including worker shortages, return-to-office mandates, and the struggle to offer competitive wages.
