2024: A Year of Innovation, Growth, and Sustainability
As we reflect on 2024, I am proud to share some of Envac's most significant achievements—milestones that underscore our commitment to shaping smarter, more sustainable cities worldwide.
In Sweden, our Envac EAP system has proven instrumental in reducing power and energy consumption by up to 75%, with projects like Eriksberg demonstrating our technology's efficiency and environmental benefits. Additionally, the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" project at Stockholm Royal Seaport, featuring our Envac ReFlow application, has set a new benchmark for circular waste management.
Envac's work was also spotlighted in the Supercool podcast, where I had the opportunity to discuss our innovative underground pneumatic waste collection system. Cities like Barcelona and Singapore have already adopted this cutting-edge solution, where waste travels through underground pipes to centralised collection stations, resulting in fewer garbage trucks, reduced emissions, and cleaner urban environments.
Our expansion continues across the globe. Envac Korea successfully delivered the Gaepo project, The H Firstier I'Park, in Seoul's prestigious Gangnam district, further solidifying our role in the region's sustainable urban development. In France, we secured two significant tenders for pneumatic waste collection systems in hospitals, reinforcing our impact in the healthcare sector.
Notably, 2024 marked Envac's first large-scale installation in Africa, with our system landing in Konza, Kenya. Designed to separate four waste fractions and collect 40 tons of waste per day, this project signals the beginning of a cleaner, more efficient future for urban waste management in the region. Meanwhile, our footprint in Israel and India continues to expand as we bring innovation to new cities.
In June, I was honoured to participate in the FII PRIORITY Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, alongside our valued client, the King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD). Under the theme "Invest in Dignity," this summit provided a platform to discuss how investing in ecological transition, technology, and social inclusion can build a new global order that prioritises dignity for all. Our collaboration with KAFD in Saudi Arabia exemplifies our shared commitment to sustainable urban development.
