As I sit down to reflect on 2024, I’m reminded of one simple truth: Progress isn’t always about monumental wins—it’s about showing up, staying true to your vision, and celebrating every step forward, no matter how small it may seem to others.
This year wasn’t without its challenges. There were naysayers who said I’d fail, voices that doubted my ability to build something meaningful. But despite the noise, I stayed focused. I stayed vulnerable. I stayed true to my principles. To hopefully help inspire you here is my year. From having no meaning in my job to now living my true purpose!
My 2024 Journey—A Timeline of Progress:
?? A Career Shift I Didn’t Plan For: When the hotel and meetings industry faced changes, I went from organizing large-scale events to working reception shifts that didn’t align with my family life—especially with a 3-month-old baby at home.
?? Becoming a Full-Time Dad: I made the decision to go on pappa ledig (parental leave) and embrace fatherhood fully. But deep down, I knew I needed something more to feel fulfilled.
?? Taking the Leap: So, I quit my job. With financial support from parental leave and the belief in something bigger, I started not one, but two companies. People said I was crazy—that it wouldn’t work. But I leaned into vulnerability, and I trusted the process. And started to create and plan The Sub Leader & The Journey of an Entrepreneur Events along with my Co Founders, Theo Bengtstr?m & Gunnar Malm . To Whom I want to give my heartfelt gratitude to for not only being amazing at building a huge event, but for their friendship along the way.
?? Empowering Through Ethical Sales Training
Later down the year myself and the awesome Jakob Lundstr?m had an idea! Let's get together in collaboration with G?teborgs Yngre and provide value to the young entrepreneurs. So in Collaboration with Clarion Hotel? The Pier we welcomed Steve Johnson former Head of Sales at SWISH Sales Coaching Australia, to train young entrepreneurs in ethical sales practices.
I even had the chance to deliver a short keynote on The Power of Vulnerability in Networking and share how being human in B2B can drive authentic, meaningful results.
And a huge thank you to the CEO and Co founder Ryan Tuckwood to helping make this possible. I am forever grateful to you and the community you have built.
?? Marrying the Love of My Life: In the middle of it all, I had the privilege of marrying the woman who, back in 2019, convinced me to move to Sweden and start a family. A day filled with love, laughter, and the people who matter most. The person who believed in me the most and stood by me no matter what. Together we swam through the murky waters of Shark infested Oceans to get to where are today. Without you Linnea Littlewood this wouldn't have been possible, Thank you my Love.
?? A New Chapter – Changing My Name to Littlewood: But marriage wasn’t just about a wedding day; it was about embracing a new chapter. Together with my wife, we made the decision to change my name to Littlewood. The name carries deep significance—it was my Nana's maiden name, a woman who shaped so much of who I am today. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering belief in me are values I carry into every part of my life and business. This wasn’t just a name change; it was a commitment to honor her legacy and build something meaningful under that name.
?? The Journey of an Entrepreneur – Our First Major Event: Alongside my incredible co-founders, Theo and Gunnar, we created a full-day event at Jacy'z Hotel & Resort for over 150 attendees. With no proof of concept and no previous experience, we delivered an unforgettable day of learning, networking, and connection.
This was certainly proof that you don't need experience or a detailed business plan to get started. You just need a commitment to yourself that you will make it.
Thank you to amazing Kimberly Mattsson for helping us make this possible. I hope we get the chance to work together again in the future.
?? Launching The Sub Leader: This year also marked the birth of The Sub Leader and the creation of my keynote workshop: “Vulnerability Is Your Superpower.” Standing on stage and delivering this message in front of a live audience was one of the most fulfilling moments of my life.

??Hustle for Your Well-Being Series: One of my proudest moments this year was launching Hustle for Your Well-Being in partnership with Yuncture . This wasn’t just an event—it was a space to have real conversations about mental health, vulnerability, and sustainable well-being in both life and business. I delivered my keynote, "Vulnerability Is Your Superpower," alongside incredible speakers like Josefin Andersson , Lee Johannisson , and Olle Bengtstr?m .
This series isn’t about trends or box-ticking—it’s about creating genuine spaces where vulnerability is celebrated, resilience is nurtured, and success is redefined. And this is just the beginning. ?? Nikita Bergum & Nea Lundqvist you people are amazing and I loved working with you, and I really hope we can continue with the amazing and inspiring work we did together.
The Lesson From 2024:
To many, these might seem like small wins. To me, they represent growth, resilience, and proof that vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s strength. The chance to work with amazing and inspiring people. To build a community that represents Kindness, Determination and integrity.
I’ve learned that being honest with yourself, vulnerable enough to share your vision, and courageous enough to say “no” to those who doubt you is where real change happens.
And here’s the thing: I might never reach my ultimate goal. But the person I’ve become this year—the lessons learned, the limiting beliefs shattered, and the strength gained—makes every step worth it.
EVERYTHING SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL YOU DO IT
Throughout the year I've had had so many struggles, whether that's people posting about me being fake on social media, laughing at my expense! People going out there way to see me fail, call me out and even tell me I can't do it. To going through hard times mentally and physically to have self doubt and not believing in myself. I'm here to tell you that if you can push through, if you can celebrate the small achievement, find a group of people that lift you up, support you, cheer you on. Then its possible ladies and gentleman. Its possible!
Dream Big, Set Big Expectations, And surround yourself with people so powerful that together you make it impossible to fail!
2025: Breaking Barriers, Creating Magic
Next year isn’t about starting over—it’s about building on this foundation. With the knowledge gained, the courage strengthened, and the belief that impossible is only impossible until it’s done.
Here’s to breaking barriers, challenging norms, and showing up unapologetically.
What are you proud of this year? Share your reflection below—I’d love to celebrate your journey too.
