2024: What Will You Create?

2024: What Will You Create?

Recently, I across a question posed by an education consultant: When you wake up each morning, do you find yourself thinking about your to-do list, or do you wonder about what you can create today? This question really got me thinking. I've always been a bit of a planner, but the idea of waking up with creating on my mind? That's a game-changer.

There's something about a good question that nudges you to up your game. Shifting to a 'creative' mindset? That's like a friendly push towards being our best selves, offering more to the world. What a fantastic way to kick off 2024, right?

Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "Hey, that's a question for the artsy folks." You know, the ones who see the world in a riot of colors and can whip up a masterpiece out of thin air. But hold on – creativity isn't just about paint and canvases. Think of it in terms of what you're good at, how you make a difference, and the legacy you want to craft.

When I reflect on my own strengths, it's my knack for setting aside judgment that stands out. This skill lets me truly listen and offer advice that's tailored to where someone is at, not where I think they should be or even where I may be. What does this allow me to create? Well, it's led me down the path of being an advice coach, a way I can contribute positively to the world. I create a safe space for the tough questions, building trust and opening doors to possibilities. It's not about painting a pretty picture; it's about enabling others to chase the life they dream of. I'm incredibly grateful for this ability and love the process of bringing these creations to life. So, inspired by my story, what do you think you'll create?

Thinking about legacy, it's all about how we leave our mark on the world. With the new year rolling in, it's the perfect moment to ponder what you'll leave behind. My legacy? It won't be something you can hang on a wall. It's about carving out spaces for people to chase their dreams, to tap into their talents. It's more of a feeling, an understanding. The thrill of potentially crafting this impact keeps me going every day. And the best part? It doesn't need to touch everyone to be meaningful. That's pretty cool, isn't it? We're not so different, you and I. So, what will you create? What will you leave behind? And, most importantly, when do you plan to start?
