2024 Update: New Ventures and Future Plans

It's been a year and a half since my departure from CVS Health, and I've had a fruitful journey. Here's a quick rundown:

1. I launched a podcast titled "Growing Your Business with People!" which has been exceptionally well-received. (50 episodes, 50K++ views, >1K regular followers with nearly 1/2 as CxO's or senior executives)
2. My consulting firm, JKL Advisors LLC, is up and running. We've undertaken a mix of comprehensive and fractional consulting projects across healthcare, retail, and technology sectors.
3. My involvement in the non-profit space includes serving as the Chair of the Board for Skills for Rhode Island’s Future, along with participation in other non-profit boards.
4. I've been facilitating connections between my clients and experienced fractional executive leaders.
5. I was able to experience my son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Hannah’s wedding in Maui and also visited venues for my daughter Aubrey and her fiancée Eric’s wedding set for 2024!

Looking ahead to 2024, I'm contemplating a return to executive leadership. After several fulfilling consulting roles, I find myself missing the impact and scope of leadership in a larger organization (bigger than me and 3 fractional teammates). These 18 months have been a period of growth and learning, working with a diverse range of people and projects. However, the pull towards corporate leadership is strong.

I'm particularly interested in opportunities with companies that have a clear purpose and values that align with mine. With my background in healthcare, retail, aerospace, and technology, I'm open to a wide array of possibilities.

For those who follow my podcast, "Growing Your Business with People," rest assured it remains a priority. We've got Season 5 nearly in the bag, and there are no plans to wind it down.

In the meantime, I continue to welcome new client engagements and fractional opportunities. My move back into a corporate role will be a carefully considered decision, and there's no set timeline for this transition.
