The focus of this year’s challenge was to:
? Simulate and address real-world issues faced by maritime communities, including search and rescue operations.
? Re-explore the maritime domain.
? Encourage participants to design, build, and operate advanced robotic systems capable of performing complex underwater tasks.
The competition targeted both (senior and junior students), with participation from 4 teams representing 4 different countries, including:
? JALPARI from “UAE“
? VORTEX from “Egypt“
? AGH MARINE from “ Poland “
? PROJECT AUV MANIPAL from “ India “
A total of 200 students from 10 universities and academies participated in this challenge.
At the beginning of the challenge, participants could trail their underwater robots.?
During the competition, participants completed 60 Underwater missions before presenting their projects to the judging panel at Khalifa University.
