Now's the time of year to create a motivational and reflective tool for celebrating achievements while encouraging continued success in 2024. This can be used in workshops, webinars, coaching sessions, or personal development contexts.
Step 1: Set the Stage
Purpose: Frame the activity to inspire participation and self-recognition.
Begin with a brief introduction (verbally or in writing): “Success isn’t just about big wins—it’s also about the small victories that add up. Reflecting on your achievements helps you stay motivated and prepares you for an even better year. Let’s celebrate your 2024 accomplishments with a Success List!”
Step 2: Design the Success List Template
Provide a simple and customizable template for participants to fill in.
Template Example:
A Professional Success I’m Proud Of: (e.g., landing a new client, completing a challenging project)
A Personal Achievement I’m Celebrating: (e.g., hitting a fitness goal, learning a new skill)
A Habit or Behavior I Improved: (e.g., staying consistent with a routine, better communication)
Something I Did That Positively Impacted Others: (e.g., mentoring someone, volunteering)
A Challenge I Overcame: (e.g., navigating a tough situation, stepping out of my comfort zone)
One Goal I Achieved That I’m Excited About: (e.g., saving money, launching a product/service)
Words I’d Use to Describe My 2024 Success Story: (e.g., resilient, creative, disciplined)

Step 3: Facilitate Reflection and Sharing
Options for Execution:
Individually: Encourage participants to privately reflect and write their answers.
Group Setting: Create breakout rooms or small groups to share one or two items from their Success List.
Digital Format: Use tools like Google Forms or Notion to create an interactive form for remote participants.
Step 4: Celebrate Success Together
Virtual/Webinar Setting: Use polls or chats for participants to share highlights from their lists.
In-Person Setting: Provide sticky notes, markers, and a "Success Wall" for participants to post their wins.
Step 5: Look Forward to 2025
Encourage participants to carry forward their momentum:
“Now that you’ve celebrated your wins, think about what success looks like for you in 2025. What’s one action you’ll take to keep your momentum going?”
Optionally, provide space to write: “One Goal for 2025:” ___________________________
Closing Statement: "Your 2024 successes are proof of your potential. Keep building on them—your next big win is just around the corner."
This activity celebrates the past year and sets the tone for continued success. ??
