• Majuu Project

In Kenya, the Majuu project, a collaboration with Shell Foundation, Cooperative Bank, and Mastercard, brings biogas to 125 farmers, advancing clean energy and affordable financing in agriculture.

• Expanding Across Africa

New markets in Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Ghana, plus growth in Ethiopia, highlight our 2024 expansion with partners like Ecogen and Engie Energy Access.

Africa team wins Biogas Valorization Award and is Runner-Up for Clean Cooking Solutions, honoring our energy solutions for smallholder farmers.

Asia

• 100,000 Installations Milestone

Sistema.bio celebrates 100,000 global installations, marking a major achievement in empowering farmers worldwide with sustainable biogas solutions.

• Amul and Sistema.bio: A Clean Energy Revolution

Partnering with Amul, India’s largest milk brand, Sistema.bio is installing 7,000 biodigesters in Gujarat.

• Middle East Green Initiative Partnership

Sistema.bio collaborates with Saudi Arabia’s Middle East Green Initiative to install 800 biodigesters in Nepal and Indonesia by January 2025, reducing reliance on traditional fuels.

• Nestlé Partnership in Punjab

With over 6,000 biodigesters planned, including 3,000 installed in 2024, our partnership with Nestlé is transforming smallholder farming practices in Punjab.

• India Dairy Biogas Program: Phase Two

The second phase of our India Dairy Biogas Program targets 50,000 new biodigesters, empowering farmers with clean energy and reducing dependency on fossil fuels and chemical fertilizers.

LATAM

• Record Installations in Colombia

Sistema.bio Colombia reached a milestone with 240 biodigesters installed in three months, driven by a carbon credit program supporting sustainable livestock and pig farming.

• Strategic Alliances in LATAM

Collaborations with Sigma Alimentos, Heineken, 达能 and IFC are advancing sustainable agriculture in LATAM, with innovations like biodigesters for cacao mucilage.

• Empowering Women in Honduras

Partnering with Care International, Sistema.bio’s gender-focused project is delivering clean energy and economic benefits to rural women while cutting 100+ tons of CO2 annually.

• LATAM: Growth of Productive Systems

With 532 systems installed in 2024, LATAM leads in large-scale sustainable solutions, reflecting our commitment to innovation and agricultural development.
