2024 Newsletter – A year in review ?

Every year is “what a year!” and 2024 was no exception. We all witnessed what’s new in the world, tech, and science. But let us set aside the grand, sweeping changes of the universe and zoom into something closer to home—what 2024 meant for MWDN.

Consistency is a true mark of excellence!

This year, we proudly secured 4th place as the Best Employer of the Year among medium-sized companies (81–200 employees) in the DOU survey.

New clients, new niches!?

The year began with a surge of new clients and fresh opportunities. 20+ ambitious newcomers joined us! Four of them – bathing in the limitless potential of generative AI. Their goals? To revolutionize data analysis, accelerate advertising strategies, and bring precision to logistics.

Meanwhile, the world of big data continued to grow. This trend allowed us to assemble two exceptional dedicated teams of top-tier business analysts for our partners in Israel and the United States. These teams, driven by talent and expertise, embody what MWDN stands for.?

One of the most exciting areas we ventured into this year is green coding and climate change software. Collaborating on projects with the potential to fight climate change and make a positive impact on the world is a privilege we deeply value. To our visionary clients, thank you for trusting us with work that truly matters.

As for our long-standing clients? Over 50 companies continued to reaffirm their trust in us, sharing words of praise that fuel our passion for excellence.

Expanding into new markets!?

For years, Israel, the USA, and Canada have been our primary focus. But in 2024, we reached new shores. This time, it was the Netherlands and Sweden—a leap into Western Europe, and LATAM countries. To our new partners, we extend a heartfelt thank-you for your trust. Your belief in us inspires every step forward.

Growth from within

As our reach expanded, so did our inner world. This year, we welcomed a new department of inbound marketing—an energetic team full of fresh faces and ideas.

The demand for global hires also grew, and we rose to the challenge by strengthening our recruitment team. With every new hire, our capacity to match talent with opportunity only deepened.

Moments that bring us together

Amidst all the growth and milestones, there were moments that reminded us of the human connections at our core. In October, the Kyiv Marathon brought many of us together for a rare face-to-face gathering. Cheers to our MWDN runners who crossed the finish line with determination! After the sports event, we had a nice and cozy time together with food, beverages, laughs, and talks.

Green coding, being our personal trend in 2024, made us get deeper into the question and conduct research on the ways software can affect the world around us.?See how green coding can affect agriculture and food production, how software can help us build a climate-neutral economy, and the ways software can help with climate adaptation and resilience.?

We have also started making predictions for 2025.

One of the things that were easy to predict was the growth of cybersecurity in 2025. And suddenly, it’s December again!?

And now, almost without warning, December has come again. This year, we offered our MWDNers a choice for the holiday season: some opted for a cheerful advent calendar lovingly curated by our marketing team, while others chose to give back. Nearly half of our team selected the option to support the Ukrainian Army, donating over 250,000 UAH to the Brave Project, “Through the War,” “Pryvyd,” and other funds.

We can’t predict what will come in 2025
