2024 LinkedIn Wrapped

Hello there!

As 2024 is about to end, it’s time to reflect on the remarkable moments that made this year so special. My favorite article series, LinkedIn Wrapped, is again on air! A look back at a year filled with achievements, new connections, and valuable learning opportunities.

This year has been an incredible journey of growth and engagement:

• 248,280 impressions, marking a remarkable 814.9% increase over the past year.
• 49,884 members reached, reflecting a 512% growth compared to the previous year.
• 3,841 engagements, a significant 557.8% increase, highlighting meaningful interactions and conversations.
• 3,811 new followers, showing the power of networking and shared experiences.

These numbers represent more than just metrics—they reflect the impact of collaboration, shared insights, and professional growth.

January began with a productive meeting with Austrian Airlines . Emir Aksoy and I had insightful conversations about #EmployerBranding, #TalentManagement, and #EmployeeExperience. It was great to meet Lucia Hyett , Fouad Alouini , and Sydney Schlokat , and I hope to welcome them to Antalya one day.

February and March were busy with university career events such as #ITU, #METU, and #Hacettepe. These events gave us the chance to meet talented individuals interested in aviation. Special thanks to ?eyma Gül Co?kun and Celil S?zer for their contributions and for sharing their experiences with future candidates.

In April, we had a trip to LinkedIn London HQ with Emir, which was another highlight. Emine Yesilcimen shared her knowledge, which was both inspiring and practical, while reconnecting with Alana Christensen and Marta Zampollo added a personal touch to the visit.

May included the Turkish-German University Career Summit, where I had the chance to meet many motivated students. I’m especially grateful to Roza Altunli for her support during the event.

Over the summer, our intern Zeynep Nisa Acikgoz joined our little EB Team. She adapted quickly, took on important tasks, and left a positive impact. It was a pleasure working with her, and I’m looking forward to seeing her future achievements.

A significant milestone for me came in September, when I started my Master’s program in #BusinessAdministration at Galatasaray üniversitesi . Balancing work and study has been challenging but rewarding, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to my professional life.

In October, SunExpress received a silver award at the #YouthAwards2024 as the “Most Desired Company to Work for in the Transportation Sector.” This recognition reflects the hard work of our Employer Branding team and the strong connection we have built with young talent. It is good to see Alara Aslan Karaca in this beautiful event.

Finally, attending World Employer Branding Day in Amsterdam was a career highlight. Listening to presentations by sept24 , DHL Express , and other leaders in the field gave me new perspectives on Employer Branding. A big thanks again to Brett Minchington and Andrea Fielding for this event.

2024 has been a year of growth, collaboration, and progress. I’m grateful to everyone who has contributed to this journey, and I look forward to what 2025 will bring.
