2024 Key Figures; 6 New AI Project Requests; Why I Want to Open a Factory & More

Hi there, and welcome!

I’m Volodymyr , and this is the very first edition of our monthly newsletter. Since we’re just starting, let me take a moment to introduce myself.

When I was 14, I dreamed of building a successful business and a development company in particular.

This is me 6 years ago launching small startup in the university with friends.

It wasn’t a straight line—I had my fair share of failed attempts—but I ended up co-founding COXIT with Iryna Mykytyn . Today, we are a team of 30 people, and together, we’ve built a company with over $1.6M in ARR.

To be honest, I say “no” more often than “yes” when clients come to us with a solution in mind. Why? Because neither I nor my team believe in building something just for the sake of it.

If you hear “no” from us at the start, don’t worry—it’s never without reason. We’ll always back it up with solid arguments and better alternatives.

As an entrepreneur myself, my goal is to guide you toward building something that truly works and generates profit. Selling solutions just to sell isn’t my thing.

Offline Winter Party

Looking back at December

Like many companies, we had winter parties. The first was virtual—perfect for our remote-first team—and the second was in-person with a few local teammates. As a gift, everyone got a T-shirt featuring the ultimate COXIT playlist, with every team member’s favorite songs.

???On the business front, we ended the year on a high note with $1.6M in revenue.

Sales Inbox

In December, we also received 6 new project inquiries, all of them for AI agent development. In the industries like healthcare, grants, and manufacturing. For example we were talking about an app that lets companies search their data, like emails and PDFs, through a chatbot and get regular updates on new information.

And yes! We managed to sign a new client, and we’re now working on a Proof of Concept. More details soon ??

The Talent Behind It All

We welcomed 3 new developers to the team: 2 Full Stack Node/Vue.js experts and 1 Frontend Vue.js specialist.

They are already working on an app for a major exhibition in Las Vegas, of course, I mean CES.

There is also some talent ready for new opportunities:

  • Middle Python Developer
  • Senior .NET Developer
  • Middle AI Engineer.

What I’m Reading

The Goal: Summary & Book Review

The Goal (first published by Eliyahu Goldratt in 1984) drives home one core idea: continuous improvement. Surprisingly, it’s written as a gripping business novel set in a small-town factory—an approach you don’t see every day.

Who Should Read It?

Everyone from production managers to students to CEOs. It’s written in simple, story-driven language, so it’s easy for anyone to follow.

“A survey of the reading habits of managers found that though they buy books by the likes of Tom Peters for display purposes, the one management book they have actually read from cover to cover is The Goal.” — The Economist

Even though it describes manufacturing operations, The Goal applies to any situation where you want to understand how things really work so you can improve them. As the characters “think logically about their problems,” they discover the “cause and effect relationships” behind actions and outcomes.

Fun fact: The Goal is one of three books Jeff Bezos requires his top managers to read at Amazon, using it to outline the company’s future direction.

And yes, the book is the reason why I got super motivated to build my own factory.

A Much-Needed Break

After a busy year, I finally took some time off and visited Northern Portugal where my family is located. The highlight was exploring the castle of the man who discovered Canada and meeting one of his descendants. Some pictures for extra inspiration to visit Northern Portugal:
