Some important dates for your diaries

31 Jan 2024

  • For TY ended 5 Apr 2023, deadline for paying Self-Assessment balancing payment and CGT.
  • ITSA account deadline for the first payment of TY 2022/23.
  • Final online deadline for Self-Assessment tax return.
  • For accounting periods ended 30 Apr 2023, deadline for filing of accounts with Companies House.
  • Corporation Tax returns due for accounting periods ended 31 Jan 2023.

1 February

  • ITSA: where 2021/22 self assessment tax return was not filed on time and was issued before 1 November 2022 there is a penalty charged.?
  • ITSA: further late filing penalties apply to outstanding 2020/21 tax returns.

2 February

  • ITSA: third late payment penalty due of 5% of any 2020/21 income tax and capital gains tax due on 31 January 2022 and remaining unpaid on this date.
