2024 Highlights

2024 was a defining year for Univrses. As the demand for smarter, more sustainable solutions to modern road network challenges grew, we intensified our focus on delivering innovative solutions and expanding our impact worldwide.

Advancing 3DAI?

2024 saw the most significant advancements to 3DAI? since its launch. We introduced cutting-edge features designed to empower users with more precise insights and streamlined workflows. Among these advancements was the introduction of Roads, a new tool that streamlines how users access, review, and act on road asset data. By integrating 3DAI? insights with an intuitive interface, Roads simplifies short-term repairs, long-term planning, and overall decision-making for road management.

Collectively, these updates make road condition monitoring, damage detection, and data visualization faster, clearer, and more actionable than ever before. They equip road engineers and decision-makers with the tools they need to manage road networks more efficiently, reduce costs, and enhance safety—all while minimizing environmental impact.

Scaling globally

Univrses expanded its presence across six countries in 2024, collaborating with national and local organizations to enhance road management and infrastructure planning. By using 3DAI?, our clients gain a deeper understanding of their road network conditions, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and reduce costs. In several territories, this translated into millions of euros in savings through optimized resource allocation and improved cost management.

Last year alone, 3DAI? collected nearly 950 000 kilometers of data—equivalent to 24 laps around Earth. This vast dataset was powered by the processing of 94 million images, analyzed to transform raw visuals into actionable insights. Additionally, the system detected and categorized 560 000 traffic signs, providing critical data to improve road safety and optimize infrastructure management worldwide.

Driving impact

In 2024, Univrses’ contributions to AI and road management gained wide recognition. We were honored to be among a select few companies to meet with Sweden's Minister for Infrastructure and Housing, Andreas Carlson, to discuss how AI and digitalization can address the nation’s infrastructure challenges. Impact Loop recognized us as one of Sweden’s top innovators in traffic safety and autonomous technology, while leading Swedish media outlets—Sveriges Radio, SVT, and Dagens Industri—featured our work, emphasizing the impact of our collaboration with The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).

The Trafikverket partnership, along with other impactful 3DAI? deployments, was showcased at international conferences across multiple countries, including ERPUG in Cologne, the Sweden-Italy Transport Forum at the Embassy of Sweden in Rome, and Barcelona’s annual Smart City Expo World Congress. These platforms enabled us to engage directly with decision-makers and industry leaders, demonstrating how 3DAI? contributes to safer roads and more connected communities.

Looking ahead

As we close the chapter on 2024, we remain focused on advancing innovation and driving impact in the year ahead. We’re looking forward to new opportunities to deploy 3DAI?, strengthening existing partnerships, and forging new ones to continue driving change globally.
