2024 highlights: from milestones to memories
As 2024 comes to a close, we at NIPPON Genetics EUROPE are filled with gratitude and pride for what we’ve achieved together. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made this year truly memorable:
Innovation that shines
In April, our FastGene? FAS-X was honored with the German Innovation Award 2024 for its groundbreaking safety features and intuitive design, setting a new benchmark in gel documentation technology.
We also celebrated an exciting milestone—10 years of Blue/Green LED technology, a decade of advancing safer, brighter, and more sustainable lab solutions.
Expanding connections
This year, we strengthened our global presence by participating in 4 international exhibitions and 16 national exhibitions, where we connected with scientists and showcased our latest innovations.
In September, we hosted another successful distributor workshop, sharing knowledge, and insights, and creating lasting connections with our partners.
We also began new collaborations with SelectScience and Biocompare, expanding our reach and offering scientists even more valuable tools and resources.
Supporting science and celebrating achievements
We are proud to have supported talented teams in their endeavors, including the iGEM Heidelberg team, which won the Grand Prize—a success powered in part by the lab materials we provided. Our online contests added a spark of creativity and excitement, with standout moments like the Scientific Poem Contest, awarding a €500 travel grant, and a raffle offering incredible prizes, including a FastGene? FAS-X and product vouchers.
Growing together
This year, our team grew stronger and more diverse with the addition of 7 new colleagues, increasing the number of languages spoken at Nippon Genetics Europe to 11!
We also launched our LinkedIn Newsletter, which surpassed all expectations in subscriptions and engagement. Your support has been the driving force behind its success—thank you!
