2024 Double Dragon Eclipse
April 8, 2024 at 11:21 am PT is a new Moon in Aries with a total solar eclipse at 11:17 am PT. This eclipse will be visible across Mexico, the United States, and Canada when the Moon completely blocks the Sun. This new Moon begins the lunar month of the Dragon in this Dragon year. In Chinese mythology, Dragon chases a flaming pearl that is the Sun. During most eclipses, Dragon takes just a bite. On the date of this double Dragon eclipse, Dragon swallows the entire Sun!
An eclipse is an absence of light when the shadow is seen, making this lunar cycle the time to reevaluate your inspiration, motivation, and actions. But the new Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Venus are in Aries to take action. And Mercury is still retrograde until April 25?which is not the best for launching new endeavors.
