Weekly Market Update

The larger number of properties brought to auction last weekend was a good test for the pre-spring market. Properties that are priced well are attracting large numbers at open for inspections which then translates into competitive bidding at auction. Marshall White sold 25 properties on the weekend with all area’s performing equally well. The auction success rate for the Port Phillip area was 90 per cent for the weekend. Among the highlights from the weekend’s auctions was the sale of stylishly renovated Victorian residence at 70 Herbert St, Middle Park which sold for a price of $3,500,000.
