2024 Campaign Rolling Out….. “Saving Democracy” & “Defending the Rule of Law”

If I am ever in doubt about what the West Wing Talking Points are…all I must do is turn my dial to NPR who in modular tones articulates them with repetitive precision….like a printing press they stamp out the sheet music…line & verse?

The old communication adage is more effective than ever in our distracted times…..If you say it loud enough and long enough …it will become the truth.

PBS/ NPR is a formidable entity with one hundred million fans…even more impressive is that 40-50 million of them are the wealthiest and most educated people in the nation.

These folks are people of significance…in leadership through out all segments of American Society …they are “influencers” whose reach touches an additional one hundred to one hundred fifty million citizens.

So while PSB/ NPR pats themselves on the back as “Fair” and “Balance”…in essence they are a Trojan Horse for the Loyal Opposition…..State Affiliated Media …which when that label was applied recently ….NPR bristled with indignation

?…yet a “Simple” examination of their team….FEC donation records…content …..makes the even more rudimentary calculation of 1 + 1 =2

I applaud their branding, marketing, quality of presentation, content control and professionalism….even better they are publicly funded…..the entire brilliance of the model is worthy of acclamation….so well done !!

The GOP has nothing in their communication arsenal that comes even close to the PBS/NPR behemoth ….FOX/ NEWSMAX are the pre-school which PBS/NPR is the graduate school program ….an Ivy League one at that.

……guess this is the difference in employing journalists versus hiring eye candy entertainers. ?

What makes the messaging at PBS/NPR so effective in its market penetration are the use of the words / phrases they choose to craft their message.

?Lev Vyvotsky the Soviet Psychologist would be proud of his novitiates at PBS/NPR.

His theory of the Social Origin of the Mind places its emphasis on developing mental and cognitive abilities through the effective use of constructing cultural and social environments.

These environments are the result of Communication, Culture, Community.

Words form the center lynchpin of this strategic theory as they create the narrative of the Cultural Cosmology

…a mythology that informs a group of like-minded individuals to coalesce into a community.

The Trumpian Myth has all the energy of a Wagnerian Opera

?….the Lohengrin Epic has nothing on this seven year saga that has been a non-stop drama of events that split America into two polarized camps

Yet… it is the Strategic Lexicon

…the words and phrases that create the parameters of our present reality.

These ten themes will frame the Election of 2024 casting a dichotomy of the Good versus Evil

…Light versus Darkness

…those Defending Truth and those Confused in Falsehood

The staging of this 2024 Epic is brilliant…with all the presuppositional groundwork being scaffolded out each day

…the structural mindset….drip by drip becoming the accepted fact in a narrative that defines everything.

What’s crazy is somehow this all works so well despite the incompetent leadership, hard economic times, massive foreign policy failures…….systemic corruption from the top to the bottom that benefits a small insider group. ?

Such a declining quality of life for many citizens

……the Reagan Question – Are you better off than you were four years ago ?

..the answer is NO

The most surreal element is how the essence of truthful reality is so easily twisted to where those that proclaim its orthodoxy the loudest are the greater perpetrators that seek to undermine it.

The Republicans continue to follow an outdated Playbook, lack cohesiveness and psychologically are totally ineffective in crafting a counter narrative that is as compelling as the Democrats.

Old School Republicans (like me) articulated a high-minded Social Gospel that has been our brand for many many decades in the political arena…we live it and in fact we wear it like a crown

…the Left actually possessed a deferent respect for our purest orthodoxy

…..no one thought us as extreme but passionate in our beliefs ?

What makes it even more creditable is how on many occasions this Social Gospel married up with the Social Advocacy of our friends in the loyal opposition.

Back then there was lots of mutual respect….we just did not agree on certain things but everyone believed that we all wanted the best for our constituency.

Such civility is all gone to be replaced with Cultural Wars with extreme positions that have few overlapping philosophies.

In that combative environment…the Progressive have taken the high ground of which we held for so long.

They are the defenders of the Rule of Law…the saviors of Democracy while we are the Insurrectionists….Election Deniers that seek to destroy the foundation of the Great Republic.

I applaud their brilliance with imaging this Transformation of Reality.

Republicans find themselves now having to state that they do believe in the Rule of Law and will Defend this Constitutional Democracy.

Stunning omissions that twenty years ago the Grand Old Party was the Morning in?America Flagship ….of Patriots and Heroes

…We were the Gold Standard !!

Reading the Tea Leaves about twenty months out from 2024

?…my sage advice tells me that there is lots of work to be accomplished here.

You need to get on the upside of this Democracy Debate as your current position will equate to further losses in 2024
