2024 in a Blink: Reflections, Growth, and New Horizons

As we approach the close of 2024, it's remarkable to reflect on the journey of this year. A year filled with challenges, opportunities, and moments that shaped us personally and professionally. Here are some insights into my journey and the broader highlights of 2024.

A Year of Insights and Impact

This year has been a blend of experiences—from mentoring MBA students on cracking the HR interview round to sharing impactful knowledge on platforms like LinkedIn through my newsletter, #SANSINSIGHTS. With over 40,000 connections,16 Lakh Impressions, 50k engagement, LinkedIn continues to be a hub for engaging with professionals and students alike, fostering meaningful discussions on HR trends and career guidance.

Key Milestones

• Mentorship and Learning: I continued my passion for developing HR professionals and mentoring students from esteemed institutions like NMIMS, Christ University, and Jain University. These interactions are more than just sessions; they are exchanges of ideas and energy.
• Recognition and Programs: Received the prestigious Pioneering HR Leader of the Year Award 2024. Successfully completed the prestigious LEAD program by upGrad , earning the distinction of class topper. This accomplishment highlights not only academic excellence but also a strong dedication to leadership development. Additionally, completed the CHRO Tomorrow program by Jombay and secured a place on the Honors List for 2024.
• Writing Endeavors: This year saw me pen articles on topics ranging from workplace culture preferences of millennials to lessons from iconic leaders like Ratan Tata. My writing journey also explored themes like the importance of empathy in interviews and sustainable celebrations.
• Supporting Society Through Education: Actively contributed to initiatives aimed at educating higher secondary school students in rural areas and upcoming smart cities, helping them navigate career opportunities and make informed choices about their futures.
• LinkedIn Article Contributions: This year, I continued sharing valuable insights on HR trends, career guidance, and workplace dynamics through LinkedIn articles. Topics ranged from interview preparation tips to exploring millennial work culture and sustainable workplace practices.
• Recognized as a LinkedIn TOP Voice: Achieving the LinkedIn TOP Voice recognition was a proud moment, highlighting the impact of meaningful engagement and thought leadership within the HR community. With over 40,000 connections, it has been an incredible journey of sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth.
• White Paper on HR 2047: Authored a comprehensive white paper on the future of HR in 2047 (100 years of Independance) as part of a project under the guidance of Sai Kumar Chandran . This project delved into how HR can evolve to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world, from digital transformations to inclusivity in the workplace. There are lot of such new initiatives are from Modi 3.0 Narendra Modi NITI Aayog NITI Aayog Official.

Exploration and Connections

Traveling to New Horizons: This year’s travels took me to remarkable destinations such as Colombo, Srilanka, Lonavala, Khandala, Manesar, Sonipat, Noida, Ayodhya, Ujjain, Pune, and Indore. Each journey offered fresh perspectives and invaluable experiences that enriched both my personal and professional life. A special highlight was the privilege of seeking the blessings of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, a truly spiritual and memorable moment.

Looking Ahead

As we step into 2025, I carry with me the lessons of 2024: the importance of growth, the power of connections, and the need to adapt to ever-changing professional landscapes. The next year promises to be an exciting chapter, and I look forward to contributing to the HR community while exploring new avenues for learning and impact.
