2023 Year in Review

As we continue to establish our role as key supporters of SME housebuilders, their lenders and finance brokers, we want to connect meaningfully with property development professionals across the community - and where better to do that than LinkedIn.

2023 was a big year for us. Below, we've summarised our main achievements, events, and news from the past 12 months. Thank you to every one of our partners; you have played an important role in spreading awareness of LDS Sales Guarantees and secured its place in the market.

• We strengthened our relationships with plenty of broker firms throughout 2023, including Arc & Co. , 仲量联行 , LDN Finance , Watts Commercial Finance Ltd , Empire Global Finance , Knight Frank , Excellion Capital , B&P Finance Consultants Ltd , RIVER COMMERCIAL LIMITED , Developer Money Market .
• We completed four deals with West One Loans , and celebrated debut transactions with United Trust Bank Limited and Shawbrook .
• In November, we announced a joining of forces with Atelier
• We appointed several new team members and promoted Ben Jenkinson to Managing Director.
• The first issue of LDS Boost - our SME housebuilder magazine - was published (followed by two more!)
• LDS enjoyed MIPIM 2023, where we welcomed a procession of lenders, brokers and clients onto the LDS boat; co-hosted a boules tournament Watts Commercial; and held a lunch at Tom Bloxham’s iconic mansion.
• It was a busy year for events in general. We attended and sponsored The MPG Events LTD Property Lunch; the National Federation of Builders (NFB) Awards; Cowgills - Property & Construction NW Homebuilder Awards; and the inaugural Variety, the Children's Charity NW PROPs Awards - which raised ￡224,000 for children in need.
• We hosted two summer BBQs: one in London in partnership with Watts Commercial Finance Ltd and gunnercooke , and one in Manchester.
• LDS exhibited at the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo in June and The Finance Professional Show in November.
• We also ran two networking events in October and November, with West One Loans and Pivot Finance , respectively.
• Virtual Sales Director was launched, extending an LDS-funded specialist sales and marketing service to all developer clients.
• In a milestone case , we completed on ￡3m of unsold homes.
• We increased our maximum GDV from ￡35m to ￡55m.
• We rounded off the year by winning Industry Supplier of the Year at the NACFB Commercial Lender Awards.
