Our skills management software allows your organization to discover, measure, and grow your internal talent with over 5,000 digital and IT pre-defined skills available.

In this TalentTech Weekly, we will recap the top product feature enhancements and noteworthy highlights for our company in 2023.

Let’s go!

Streamlining talent management with enhanced skills overview feature

Managing skills can often seem like a daunting task, but we have always aimed to simplify the process and make it easily accessible for everyone on your team. To achieve this, we updated our Skills Overview page to ensure that all the required skills-related information is readily available at your fingertips.

The Skills Overview feature enables you to conveniently view your employees' skills profiles on a single page. It allows you to track their skill development over time, add or rate skills, and thoroughly examine their competencies through various filters.

This is beneficial because it allows you to easily view the skills required for the current position, manage your employees' skills in one location, and gain a better understanding of each skill and its significance.

We’ve simplified certification management!

The Certifications Manager feature allows you to oversee all of your employee certifications in one place. You can create a repository of accepted certifications, track their expiration status, assign certifications to employees' profiles, and more.

Managing certifications is made easy by defining accepted certifications for your employees and tracking the validity statuses of their certifications seamlessly, without the need for cluttered spreadsheets.

Elevating candidate experience with browser-integrated VSCode IDE

We’ve integrated the industry-leading IDE solution VSCode into our technical skills assessment to improve candidate experience and to keep them happy. VSCode is used by a whopping 75% of developers worldwide!

It’s a fully-fledged coding environment that runs directly in your candidate’s browser!

VSCode IDE is a powerful coding tool that your candidates already know and love. It comes fully pre-configured and requires no warm-up time, making it a huge time-saver. The tool includes advanced features like live preview, built-in debugging, and smart code suggestions, which offer an authentic coding experience. Additionally, it is flexible and allows your candidates to switch to their local machine as changes are saved to a Git repository.

DevSkiller’s journey in 2023: Insights from our CEO and CoFounder with Forbes

Our CEO and CoFounder Jakub Kubrynski had the pleasure of speaking with Forbes Polska about DevSkiller’s journey to 2023.

DevSkiller started ten years ago when our founders saw an opportunity for a better solution to screen candidates' technical skills. That solution has grown into an all-in-one TalentTech platform used not only for assessing programmer candidates but also for managing your internal talent’s digital and IT skills. From this, upskilling and reskilling programs are born and it has become an integral part of strategies in companies opting for a skills-based organization model.
