2023 the year of possibilities

The coming year promises to be an exciting one, full of possibilities for personal and business growth. So as we are entering March, how are you tracking with your goals and aspirations? 3 Communication Strategies to Enhance Self-Awareness

1. Mindful Communication: Being conscious in communication can increase your self-awareness, helping you better understand and manage your own emotions. Mindful conversations allow for listening to both verbal and nonverbal cues while being aware of yourself as the conversation unfolds. Developing this practice promotes greater insight into how you think, feel, act in various social situations - ultimately leading to a stronger grasp on who we are.

2. Reflective Journaling: This one is my personal favorite.

This is a powerful tool to help you get better acquainted with yourself.Through documenting your thoughts and feelings on paper, you can gain valuable insights into how you approach life’s challenges and identify the areas in which personal growth could benefit you. You'll come away from this activity with increased self-awareness that will give context for making mindful decisions about who you want to become as an individual!?

3. Seek Feedback: Gathering feedback from those around you can be an effective tool for personal growth, interesting most people like to skirt around this one. The benefit of inviting honest opinions of your team??members, mentors and leaders, is it will help uncover hidden parts of yourself that may have been ignored before while also recognizing areas where you show strength. Ultimately this gives insight into how others receive and perceive processing information differently than oneself - a perfect learning opportunity to develop better communication skills as well as build solid relationships with the people in our lives, give it a go.

Book pick for this month

As a coach I work with my clients to achieve a rhythm that works for their life and business. Taking the time out for you is important. Recently I visited Victoria to spend time with my besties and on an exploring adventure I found this book (or did it find me?). It is probably one of the most beautiful book I have read in a long time. My go to is generally books that provide practical learning. The book contains stories about love, yes a little bit different nevertheless it provided me with a lot of creative ideas. Hmmmm, would there be a connection to taking some time out to recharge and creativeness to appear in a different way??
