Dear colleagues and friends,
As we approach the end of 2023, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had this year and express our gratitude to each and every one of you who has been part of our success. Your support, collaboration, and trust have been the driving forces behind our achievements, and we are excited to share some of the key highlights from the past year.
Catalysing Purpose-Driven Change:
- Service Evaluation for Disability Sports Coach: We were honoured to be appointed for the services evaluation for Disability Sports Coach, contributing to the shaping of their future strategic direction.
- London Sport Partnership: Our ongoing consultancy support to London Sport continued to develop with the support of the Opening Schools Facility Fund application process and again into strategically leading the place work with the Physical Activity and Sport Development team.
- Purpose 2.0 Launch: In partnership with nooh Studio, we introduced Purpose 2.0, a collaborative service aimed at elevating purpose through brand and strategy, specifically tailored for the grassroots sports sector.
Community Engagement and Impact:
- Sported Evaluation: Wrapping up a successful project with Sported, we worked on the evaluation of the Connected Communities programme, contributing to the enhancement of community development and impact.
- This Mum Runs Partnership: We proudly signed on with This Mum Runs to support their community engagement and participation ambitions, championing digital communities and inclusivity.
- Laureus Model City London: We embarked on a new project with the Laureus Model City London coalitions, where we facilitated the coalition engagement workshops, reinforcing our commitment to purposeful collaboration. In addition, it was an absolute delight to attend the Laureus Sport for Good Global Summit at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June, connecting with like-minded individuals and organisations dedicated to positive change.
Milestones and Evolution:
- Brand Evolution: We underwent a makeover and refreshed our brand, aligning it more closely with our values and mission.
- One-Year Celebration: Celebrating our first birthday, we brought together friends and colleagues from across the sector, grateful for the support and partnerships that have fuelled our growth.
- Web Makeover: Our website underwent a snazzy makeover, reflecting the evolution of our brand and making it an even more informative and engaging platform for our community.
Commitment to Growth and Collaboration:
- Active London Conference: Nicky represented London Sport at the Active London conference, chairing a panel discussion on "Building collaboration and sustainability into place-based approaches."
- Laureus Model City London: Nicky will be rejoining the team in January to support the sustainability phase of the three London coalitions in Haringey, Barking and Hounslow.?
As we anticipate the new year, we are excited about the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead.
