Kyra King

Kyra King completed her Bachelor in Health Science in 2017 and Doctor in Physiotherapy in 2020 at Bond University in Queensland.??

During this time, she undertook a placement in Vietnam providing paediatric services, which helped shape her love for physiotherapy.??

Following her studies, Kyra returned to Kalgoorlie, where she joined Goldfields Physio. ?

It was here where she utilised her previous exposure to neurological disability and paediatrics, to help expand the breadth of service offered to clients in Kalgoorlie. ?

Kyra has been undergoing further education at TAFE in business and leadership training, which has seen her step into a leadership role over the past three years.?

During this time, she has commenced mentoring new staff and advocating for improved health care services for the region. ?

To optimise service delivery, Kyra has also implemented a collaborative practice with specialist clinics in Perth for neurological, vestibular, and paediatric clients.???

Paige Weaver

Paige Weaver graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from Edith Cowan University in 2005.?

Despite living in Donnybrook, she chose to work in Collie to give back to the community and hospital who had supported her during her midwifery training.??

Just prior to COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, Paige stepped up as the Acting Clinical Nurse Manager at the district hospital. Since then, she has led the Inland Multipurpose sites of Boyup Brook, Nannup, Pemberton and Northcliffe.??

Paige led the Southwest Inland COVID-19 Support Squad travelling across eight inland hospital sites providing assurance across the region. Paige has established strong relationships with the local GP and health staff, to support the region’s health services during the pandemic.???

Paige has been appointed as the Director of Nursing and Health Service Manager at the Warren Blackwood Multi-Purpose Services (MPS) and is working with the multidisciplinary teams to prepare for aged care accreditation.??

She has engaged with Warren Blackwood communities to ensure the service the MPS provides meets the evolving needs of those communities.?

Aimee Tingey

After completing her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Exercise Physiology, Aimee Tingey was accepted into Exercise and Sport Science Australia as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Scientist in 2017.?

Born in Kalgoorlie, she returned to the regions as a new graduate clinician in Geraldton with Activate Life. ?

In 2019, she joined the WA Centre for Rural Health, as an Associate Lecturer, supervising Bachelor and Masters of Exercise Physiology students from four Western Australian universities.?? ?

Aimee is committed to rural education and is completing the Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Teaching at the University of Western Australia. She also recently completed the Chronic Disease management course at Flinders University.? ?

In 2021 Aimee was recognised for her contributions to WACRH’s programs with the WACRH/Rural Health West staff award.??

In 2022 Aimee was awarded Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy; an international recognition for university educators who demonstrate excellence in their teaching.???
