Redefining Velocity: Orillion Solutions in the Fast-Evolving Landscape of 2023

Like most, I am grateful for the chance to reflect on 2023, and more importantly, enjoy a period of well-deserved downtime with loved ones and good friends. 2023 has been a year of unparalleled change, for one the impact of Generative AI on the world of work and community more broadly. It's been great looking back at what our team at Orillion Solutions has achieved in this whirlwind period.

?? Global Operating Models: As businesses pivot to work in a truly global model, designing and executing the transformation of a 20-country fraud organization wasn't just about change. It was about crafting a new future operating model, one that successfully transformed our client into a Think Global-Act Local operation.

?? Distributed Ecosystems: With our partners at ソラミツ SORAMITSU | 2016-2025 , we embraced the shift to distributed, blockchain-powered ecosystems. Our collaboration here is more than a partnership; it’s a step into the future of decentralized operations, aligning diverse entities towards a shared vision serving the greater consumer good through a unique, shared fraud intelligence blockchain platform and consortium.

Revolutionizing Learning: The launch of Gamechanger, our business simulation platform with the team at MUSTARD POST PRODUCTION LTD marked an immersive and innovative way to improve the Speed of Learning, and importantly provide deep insights for clients into how their teams apply, behave and adopt the required culture in safe, real-world business settings, powered by AI.

Emerging Market Innovations: With over 100m smallholder farmers, the power of structured, data collection across the production lifecycle promises through our Agrione project to help improve smallholder farmer yield maturity that aligns with the SDG goals of government, NGOs, producers, and farm associations. A big shout out to Danie Maritz , Adriaan Schaap , JP Le Roux (will get him on LI in 2024!) for their immense efforts in driving this great initiative.

?? Constant Value Creation: Amidst these waves of change, delivering value for clients remains unchanged. Our work with an incumbent European telco exemplifies the opportunity to grow revenue and EBITDA by measuring and realising the value in the long tail of small inefficiencies that collectively can cost-effectively transform performance.
