Call for regional builders to help deliver rural housing
The South Australian Office for Regional Housing has called on builders to partner with Renewal SA in addressing housing shortages in rural areas. The office, established in February, aims to work with local stakeholders to combat housing deficits. Its first project, the Regional Key Worker Housing Scheme, will create 30 homes for teachers, healthcare workers, and police.
Renewal SA is actively seeking interest from builders in Mount Gambier, Renmark, the Copper Coast, and Port Augusta, as well as those capable of providing housing solutions in Ceduna, Whyalla, Kangaroo Island, and other regional areas.
Builders can register their interest through a short questionnaire until October 5th.
Have your say: Advocacy and support for small business
The Government of South Australia is seeking your feedback on a proposal to amend the?Small Business Commissioner Act 2011, aimed to enhance dispute resolution for small businesses in South Australia.
The changes will provide clarity around the advocacy and compliance functions undertaken by the South Australian Small Business Commissioner (SASBC). They will also provide a distinction between other government agencies involved in the small business sector.
