22% of organizations report having an employee value proposition (EVP)

Effectively communicating all aspects of your EVP can significantly impact your ability to recruit and retain talent. Organizations have a tremendous opportunity to improve their recruitment marketing effectiveness by prioritizing their EVPs.

Not sure what to include in your EVP? Your EVP should highlight:

  • Material offerings
  • Growth opportunities
  • Connection and community
  • Meaning and purpose

Resource-intensive activities lag, while quick wins grow

Even among top scorers, we see a significant drop in adopting more demanding and resource-intensive tactics.

For example, one of the “quick wins” includes branded emails to candidates. Despite being a best practice, 40% of companies don't send branded emails to candidates. Branding your recruitment marketing emails helps candidates connect with your brand and identify your organization.

Best practices that cross industry lines

  1. Sitting in the #1 spot, the healthcare sector has made dramatic progress in implementing best practices, outpacing every other sector.
  2. Retail, hotels, restaurants, and leisure are encroaching on the third spot at 35% and are #2 in adopting employer branding activities.
  3. The top 3 industries with the best recruitment marketing adoption rates are Healthcare (54%), Technology (49%), and Finance (38%).
