The 2023 Midwinter Convention and Expo

As returning exhibitors of the Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS) Midwinter Convention, LIBERTY Dental Plan (LIBERTY) was excited to participate in a show that was equal parts education and fun. Over the past twenty-five years, the convention has promoted oral health and education in California through advocacy and encouraging continuing education and advanced technology practices.

This year’s convention was an opportunity to educate Providers on LIBERTY’s growth as a dental benefits administrator. We are expanding our branding, customizing our services, and developing innovation that will propel us in the future.

LIBERTY at Midwinter 2023

In the months leading up to the Midwinter Convention, LIBERTY worked hard to enhance its presence by creating booth graphics and educational flyers to reflect our innovation as a leading dental plan administrator. We created a new backdrop and pull-up banner with a list of our Provider value propositions as well as a QR Code that directs participants to our Provider Recruitment page (see link here).

?Inspired by the Dr. Seuss theme of the convention, we leaned into the whimsical nature of the show by creating themed flyers and announcements for our booth. We even brought along some pretty snazzy Thing 1 and Thing 2 hats to liven up our engagement with attendees. We gave away branded lunch bags, water bottles, and back scratchers to booth visitors and raffled off prizes such as Bluetooth speakers and Apple Air Pods.??

“Our goal was to work with SDDS to further their cause,” said Dr. Cherag Sarkari , Dental Director .“All of the stakeholders are connected, along with Providers which gave us foot traffic and led to a good experience overall.”.?
