2023 and Me

At first, I was going to mention my Ls (losses), but I got an email from an international hotel conglomerate, and they only mentioned wins.

The only L I will mention is my Aunt Pat. #FUKCancer

2023 WINS

• We added transportation and logistics to our services.
• We received a $10,000 grant from the BeyGOOD Foundation.
• We worked with some amazing organizations like Exceptional Business Solutions, Keith Family YMCA, Money Magnets Club, Partners for Parks, and South Park Community Partners.
• Three out of five children worked for the company at some point this year.
• We were certified as a small business by the City of Charlotte and a woman-owned business by HERHeadquarters.

The 2023 sold-out event attracted over 40,000+ attendees from across the nation! HBCU Labor Day Classic fully engages our community, promotes student development, builds business relations, and most importantly, mobilizes HBCUs through awareness scholarship, and sponsorship funding.

Personally, based on Google Maps, I visited 56 cities, including St Augustine, Long Beach, Charlotte Amalie West, Phillipsburg, and Chicago for the first time. Professionally, I was honored as one of the Charlotte Ledgers 40 over 40, was elected to the board of directors of Money Magnets Club , and appeared on two podcasts Bridge Builders Conversations and Empathy Led.
