What will we discuss?
We will touch upon multiple topics in the series. For example, to understand the rapidly advancing field of robotics materials, it is necessary to introduce a distinction between?traditional robotics and soft robotics?and discuss the material science behind new robotics projects.
In another chapter, we discuss?the hardware aspect of robotics.?We give an overview of the core hardware requirements for most robotics projects, and we look at the rise of embedded systems that enable cutting-edge robotics.
In the manufacturing chapter, we?examine what cutting-edge systems and technologies are enabling the acceleration of the robotics industry.?
We look at the impact of digital manufacturing on accelerating the industry through its ability to offer increased accessibility to the manufacturing processes necessary to advance robotics including 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection moulding.
Over the next five chapters, we will examine the core technologies that make up a robotics project as well as shed light on the trends and challenges in getting them created.
