The report provides analysis and estimates down to individual plant level, summarised at county, regional and national levels including market shares by company.

The ‘Estimated Outputs of Asphalt Plants in Great Britain 2023’ report confirms the asphalt market has experienced a downturn with annual volumes falling to levels below 2020. In 2023, BDS estimate the asphalt market to be ~26 million tonnes, a decline of ~2 million tonnes since the previous year.
