GoFormz conducted a customer survey in the beginning of 2023 spanning 14 industries and 5 countries, with 75 of respondents reporting to work at a company greater than 50 employees. In this edition of the GoFormz LinkedIn Newsletter, we will delve into the challenges commonly faced by our customers prior to their digital transformation, the motivations behind their switch to digital forms, and other key highlights from this survey.
Major Challenges Encountered Prior to GoFormz
One key finding of this survey revealed that prior to adopting digital forms, users encountered various challenges related to lost, damaged, or delayed documentation, manual data entry errors, missing or inaccurate data, and a lack of real-time insights. These issues are all common when relying on traditional pen and paper methods for conducting business. Primary Reasons for Using a Digital Form Solution
Businesses and consumers seek digital solutions to address a variety of challenges faced by traditional documentation.?
While many respondents expressed a desire to modernize their operations, this survey identified that a common reason for businesses to seek a digital form solution was the necessity for a robust reporting tool. GoFormz offers a Reporting Tool that helps businesses garner actionable insights from captured form data. These reports can analyze data collected throughout the entire process, providing real-time identification of trends, opportunities, and obstacles, with the added convenience of scheduled delivery to your inbox.?
In addition to the demand for improved reporting capabilities, survey respondents also expressed the need for compliance requirements, enhanced collaboration features, and various other requirements.
How Data was Collected Before Using GoFormz
Prior to partnering with GoFormz, a significant 58% of respondents relied on traditional pen and paper methods to track, collect, and capture data in their respective fields. Another 22% of respondents cited using spreadsheets, followed by 12% who utilized email and fax, and 8% who chose alternative methods.?
GoFormz offers a solution that allows users to simply upload their existing paper forms directly into the platform, enabling businesses to advance their existing processes rather than eliminate them. This means that pen and paper can be transformed into digital forms on tablets, spreadsheets can still be utilized while integrating digital form data capture, and traditional methods like emailing and faxing can be replaced with workflow automations.

GoFormz offers an intuitive interface that allows users to easily create digital versions of their existing paper forms. Almost 50% of the survey respondents cited the easy-to-use online form builder as the primary reason for choosing GoFormz. 29% of the survey respondents cited the GoFormz mobile app’s easy-to-use and mobile-friendly interface as a key reason for choosing the platform. With mobile forms, teams can swiftly enter data, access completed forms in real-time, store forms in the Cloud and connected applications, and much more.
Meanwhile, 14% of the survey respondents noted GoFormz’s superb sales and customer support services. For nearly five consecutive years, GoFormz Support has been recognized by G2 for offering the best customer support amongst the rest of the competition.
