After the success of our second Storytellers’ Conference (Bengaluru, November 2019) which drew 134 participants, the FEDERATION OF ASIAN STORYTELLERS (FEAST) is now planning our third Conference - THE JOURNEY.
Now, after a long delay because of the pandemic, we are finally heading for Indonesia in 2023. The journey is a useful metaphor for FEAST (our Conference is on a peripatetic voyage around Asia) and for us as individuals in terms of our work both as storytellers and as individuals.
I have a question. Do you need to be Asian to be part of FEAST. Because of a life time of dedication to study and storytelling, stories rooted in Buddhism and stories from Asian cultures have been very important to me. Laura
