2023 DEI Workplace Tips

  1. Identify which issues are most important to you. Are you most interested in building inclusive growth opportunities, driving impact through Employee Resource Strategy Groups (ERSGs), combating wage inequity, or something totally different? Determine the 2-3 issues that are most important to you that you want to tackle in 2023.
  2. Create your own personal DEI goals around these issues and quantify them! Brainstorm different tactics you can employ to consistently work towards your goals. Remember, this is a marathon not a sprint. What are some reasonable goals you can set that will allow you to take care of your physical and mental health while still moving with purpose and accountability??
  3. You don’t have to do it alone - Be sure to join my LinkedIn audio virtual book club audio sessions every Tuesday from 12-12:15 PM ET. These sessions will enable you to?connect with a community of individuals to create a roadmap for 2023.?
  4. Come up with three things you would like to see happen within your organization, and identify the individuals you will need support from in order to achieve these initiatives.
  5. For more ideas and to keep growing your DEI knowledge, pre-order my book, The Inclusive Organization.?
