?Munro manufactures pumps which service a wide range of applications and custom controls (shown) ?

Very proud of my past employer, Munro Companies (Grand Junction, Colorado) for winning the 2023 Colorado Manufacturer of the Year Award in the Industrial and Equipment category.? This is no small feat considering the number of industrial and equipment manufactures in the State of Colorado.? Couple the fact they are at par with behemoth national brands such as Red Loin, Franklin Electric and Little Giant is testament to their product and people.? ?Part of my role as manager of logistics and supply chain with the company, I was working with local government and Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce surrounding the feasibility of forming a rail transloading yard local to the Western Slope of Colorado.? This study was being driven by the number of shipping containers passing through the City of Grand Junction (literally, through the middle of town) to the yard in Norther Denver only to be trucked over the Rocky Mountains back to Grand Junction for delivery.? Clearly adding sizable cost and time to the entire logistical process.? In the newspaper interview, I provide further insight into the matter.?
