2023 – Back to Basics for HR?

Data-driven or emotionally driven? Or maybe both? Traditional HR processes or agile HR work? It can be hard to combine all these different approaches, right?

We believe that we can see a new trend emerging among our clients. Moving away from quick decisions, short-term thinking, and valiant attempts at agile HR work. Towards more long-term and value-based HR work.?

HR teams want to have more time to do quality research and more time to analyze all data collected. They also want to increase the time spent on creating and building relationships with managers and employees, rather than on administering systems.

Perhaps, we are moving away from our weekly pulse surveys and back to more traditional employee surveys. Are we on our way to bringing back our annual performance reviews and ditching our weekly check-ins? Maybe.?

We love data and analytics, but we also believe in common sense. Being data-driven is about using smart tools, being efficient, and getting relevant support for making the right decisions. It's never about letting go of your values, getting lost in your goal-setting, or turning your coat to the wind.?

Let 2023 be the year when HR gets the best out of employees and managers by calmly using its expertise and focusing on its process thinking. Of course, in a data-driven environment with systems that facilitate and support HR in all the important processes of the year!
