2023 AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam: My Winning Strategy

2023 AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam: My Winning Strategy

Hello.

Are you preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) exam?

As someone who recently passed the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam with flying colors, I want to share with you my winning strategy for 2023. My approach is based on practical tips and real-world experience, which I believe can help you boost your confidence and achieve your certification goals.

About me

As a Subject Matter Expert @ 亚马逊 with a focus on reporting and automation, I've always found cloud computing to be a fascinating field. And for those looking to begin a career in IT, passing the AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam is an essential first step.

The importance of cloud infrastructure is only set to grow in the coming decades, with 90% of global IT spending still on-premises, according to 亚马逊 CEO Andy Jassy 's 2022 stakeholder letter. This presents a tremendous opportunity for those who want to enter the field and secure their future in IT.

In my own journey, I had the chance to practice AWS through the AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations course at university. This experience motivated me to dive deeper into the world of cloud computing and start practicing through hands-on experience and certifications.

If you're looking to prepare for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam, I highly recommend starting with the basics and gradually building your skills through practice and certification. AWS offers a wealth of resources, including online courses, practice exams, and certification programs, to help you get started on your journey.

Resources for exam

Preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam can be a daunting task, but with the right resources and strategy, you can increase your chances of success. Here are some of the steps I took to prepare for the exam:

  1. Start with the basics: To get a solid foundation of cloud computing concepts and AWS services, I recommend taking the Cloud Essentials Learning Plan course of AWS Skill Builder. This course covers nearly 40 AWS services and their practical applications.
  2. Take a comprehensive course: To dive deeper into the topics covered in the exam, I highly recommend taking the Ultimate AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - 2023 course from Stéphane Maarek . This course covers all parts of the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam, with a test at the end and many quizzes to test your understanding.
  3. Practice with practice exams: Practice exams are a great way to prepare for the exam and assess your knowledge gaps. I found the 6 Practice Exams | AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner CLF-C01 from Udemy to be extremely helpful. These tests include 65 questions each and give you a clear idea of the exam structure and format.
  4. Use practice exams to identify areas of improvement: In addition to the practice exams mentioned above, I also used Whizlabs practice exams to test my knowledge and identify areas that needed improvement. Whizlabs offers one free test and four that can be purchased, making it a cost-effective option for exam preparation.

In addition to the Cloud Essentials Learning Plan course, AWS offers many free resources to help you prepare for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam. These resources include:

  1. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Exam Guide: This guide provides an overview of the exam's structure, format, and content.
  2. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Sample Exam Questions: These sample questions give you an idea of the type of questions you'll encounter on the exam.
  3. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Official Practice Question Set (CLF-C01 - English): This practice question set includes 20 questions and answers to help you prepare for the exam.
  4. Exam Prep: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01): This exam prep course covers the exam's core concepts and provides tips for taking the exam.

By taking advantage of these free resources in addition to the courses and practice exams I mentioned earlier, you'll have a well-rounded preparation for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam.

Based on my experience, I have found that by reviewing videos, slides, official documentations of AWS, and gaining hands-on experiences, I was able to increase my score from 60-65% to 75-90% on practice tests. Therefore, I suggest going through the tests and reviewing the parts that were answered incorrectly.
