EA How To is back for 2023 and we want to meet you in real life! That's right lovely ones, Yvette Lamb (née Pearson) and I are hosting live workshops in the UK, US and Australia and we're pretty excited about it ??

Our first live workshop is being held in London on 25 & 26 April 2023. It's aimed at brand new assistants and those in the role for less than 3 years. This is all about mastering the basics. How to get colleagues to action emails ??

?? Whenever I have to send an email where I need people to complete a task, I always add a sentence close to the end of the email saying "the first person who sends me their completed task (whatever it is) gets a prize."

?? Not many people read the entire email, but there is always, always one person who does.

?? I give away the many promo items I receive, Starbucks gift cards, notebooks etc.

? You have to make sure that you send an announcement congratulating the winner. Next time, people will always read your emails and complete their tasks, because they love winning!
