2023: 23 books, no Social Networks (and I feel fine)

As I wrote down in this post, I deleted all my social networks (but LinkedIn) while finishing?my Master’s in Economics earlier this year. Looking for clarity and personal growth. Searching for self-care and quality time. I don’t miss them at all. After that, my next January resolution included reading way more books for the pure pleasure of it, beyond the academic papers, pdfs, technical books and miscellaneous stuff I usually read, mostly about music and computers, my other big passions.
At this precise moment I’m reading my 22nd book this year and I decided to stop keeping track. The joy of reading that much for pleasure has been colossal and rewarding.
In case you’re curious, here’s?MY 2023 BOOK LIST, mostly in Spanish and English, handwritten with one of my Parker fountain pens. Similarly to what the admired late professor Eco once said, the joy of writing in good paper with a soft tip pen is unfathomable. He was always right.?

1 å¹´Totally agree, friend. I love reading books, and yes, whoever wants to, finds time. For me, the practicality of the digital book wins over the paper one, although the important thing here is the reward, not the medium ;)
