2022.9.7 Field visit to Guangxi Huayi Factory

??As a member and strategic alliance of the phenol and ketone industry, CFI, together with many industry peers, visited the Huayi Base in Qinzhou, Guangxi on the spot on September 7, 2022.

??The industrial project of Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Material Integration Base is planned to cover an area of 8 square kilometers, with a total investment of about 90 billion yuan, and an annual output value of 100 billion yuan after full production.

??Take the propylene-propane separation tower as an example. The tower is the main equipment of the propane dehydrogenation unit of Huayi New Materials, with a total height of 113.7 meters and a weight of about 1,800 tons.

The investment covers the four major industrial chains of coal chemical industry, light hydrocarbon cracking, salt chemical industry, and petrochemical downstream industry, involving more than 40 kinds of chemical products, with a commodity volume of 6.35 million tons per year. Among them, the first phase invested 13.6 billion yuan (Guangxi Huayi New Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.), mainly in the coal chemical industry chain, which will be completed and put into operation in 2020. The total investment of the second phase project is 20.8 billion yuan (Guangxi Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd.), the annual output value exceeds 14 billion yuan, and the annual tax exceeds 1.1 billion yuan.

??At present, it mainly involves the construction of propylene and downstream deep processing integration projects, including propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant, butanol plant, acrylic acid and ester plant, sodium polyacrylate super absorbent resin (SAP) plant, methyl methacrylate plant (MMA) device, cumene device, phenol acetone device, bisphenol A device, as well as supporting public works and auxiliary facilities.

??The following products are expected in the future: propylene, polypropylene, benzene, styrene, phenolic resin, polycarbonate, epoxy resin, isopropanol, bisphenol A, acetone, n-butanol and isobutanol (isobutyraldehyde) , MIBK, butyl acetate, neopentyl glycol NPG, lauryl alcohol ester, isobutyl methacrylate, diisobutyl phthalate, isobutyl acetate to obtain a certain price advantage.
